What is a PRISM Award?
Established in 1997, the Prism Awards is the entertainment industry’s annual celebration honoring the science-based depiction of drug, alcohol, tobacco use and addiction—often among the most popular and compelling entertainment.

The Prism Awards’ Mission:
The Prism Awards recognize films portraying the debilitating, misunderstood and socially stigmatized disease of addiction.
The Prism mission is to encourage members of the entertainment community to actively partner in addressing drug abuse in America. Additionally, Prism Awards recognize individuals from the entertainment industry for their commitment and contributions to its mission.
